Tips to Keep Your Home Safe this Halloween

Fall is in the air, and that means spooky season is coming! Don’t be afraid when it comes to the safety on your house and try a few of these tips to stay safe this Halloween season!

Keep a Clutter-Free Haunted House

Make sure your home and yard are free of debris or any hazardous objects

Corral Your Pets

Make sure Fido and your fur babies are looked after, kept indoors, or safely sheltered on Halloween night.

Spooky and Safe Decorating

Go wild with your décor, but keep in mind the consequences of wind and weather. When considering props, use fake and safe alternatives – rather than anything sharp or heavy. Be careful not to overload electrical outlets and make sure to keep decorations from sources of fire. Avoid open flames altogether and consider LED lighting or battery-operated candles for optimal safety.

We want Halloween to be a night full of tricks and mostly treats, keep your family and any candy collectors safe this year by making sure your house is ready for the fun!
